Why Am I Still In Africa? For Them.

Updated: Aug 2, 2023

We all have our own purposes and motivations when traveling for such long periods of time. And even if I will always stand to save the wildlife and to protect the people, I have to admit that…the more I spend time in the wild, the more I want to stay in the wild. And that the more I spend time with humans, the less I want to spend time with them.

I recently met a few travelers on the road, it’s always interesting and nice but it’s nothing compare to what a life in the bush brings me.

Here, a few pictures of the Queen Elizabeth Park in the West part of Uganda where I stayed a total of 13 days in the bush. Hyenas, lions, leopards, hippos, and many more, -and for only visitors- used to roam around my camp every single night (if you do remember the videos).

And please, stop thinking predators kill humans. And do TAKE THE TIME to observe the wild, to learn the wild, to feel the wild, to behave the wild, to be finally part of the wild and to be accepted by it.

Africa is not a zoo, wilderness is unforgivable, better to well behave and to be respectful. Provocation and misjudgement are the worst enemies.

Once again: be humble.
