The Most Dangerous Place In The World

Updated: Aug 2, 2023

Please, don’t get me wrong after reading this post. You know, I try my best to write my heart and sometimes I don’t use the most relevant words (and English is not my mother tongue).

I receive many beautiful messages every single day and I want to thank you for this. Very much. But I can feel some of you seem very worried about me. I can understand it. You can’t imagine how worried my parents are since I left France.

You know what? Anything can happen, anytime, anywhere, to anyone of us, sadly. Sorry to sound cliché or pessimistic (realistic?) but life is a risk anyway. There are different levels of risks, obviously, and they depend on so many things (environment, society, temper, dreams, projects, education, cultures, etc).

But sometimes, a dream, a project, -stronger than the other ones, stronger than ‘norms’ and trends- comes into your heart, your mind, and seems to have the power to change your life. It’s too strong, too intense, too unpredictable to ignore it.

My personal opinion: if you can, if you feel half ready, you have to take the risk. Always. Life doesn’t wait. And it’s yours. Not your parents’, not your family’s, not your friends’, not the society’s. YOURS.

And the most dangerous place in the world (I’ve almost never been) is FEAR. Yes, I think it’s fear. Don’t go there too often, you will forget your dreams and why you’re here.

No regrets.
