These are my last pictures of the North-western part of Tanzania, and before I crossed the border with Rwanda.
Before starting this adventure, I had some top countries I absolutely wanted to explore and others I was just planning to go through (Tanzania was one of them, I’ve never been attracted by this country -as well as Kenya- maybe too touristic).
The Crossing changed my mind drastically and that’s what I love most in this expedition: to be surprised, to discover things people never talk about, to be able to go where it’s less travelled, etc.
This Northeast part of Tanzania is definitely not the most touristic area of the country and I liked it so so much. I was even feeling frustrated when my 7-day transit visa ended.
Today, I can’t wait to be back to Tanzania in a few months, to explore the rest of the country, and maybe, to confirm that great feeling I had despite the intensity of the Crossing.
Bye bye Tanzania, see you again soon on my way back to Southern Africa!
