Some Faces Of The Dakar Rally

Writer's picture: Charline RibottaCharline Ribotta

I won’t be long tonight because I’m exhausted from the past week. Yes, I could drive 2,000km to reach the final of the iconic Dakar Rally, in Yanbu (Saudi Arabia).

Once I arrived, I could enter the private Dakar Camp thanks to Dusan, one of the assistance trucks of the race, who I met when in Shubaytah. Watch the Youtube episode of tonight and you will understand!

The fun truth is, I was not a Dakar fan, although many of my family always have been so. I was more into the Camel Trophy, before. I’m glad I got motivated enough to attend it because OMG! What a revelation. I love the Dakar atmosphere, the challenges, and the undeniable unity.

The spirit and mindsets are uplifting and it’s going to take me a while to process the worldwide first row experience.

Today, I’ve got one thing in mind: to race my first rally, one day hopefully.

I can’t wait to share more in here and on my Youtube channel (for the whole experience!).

Some of you keep asking, my channel is: Charline Ribotta

Enjoy the ride and these faces full of hope and determination!
