Road Signs In Lesotho

Over 80% of the country lies above 1,800 meters and this explains why Lesotho is the coldest country in Africa (throughout the year).

The Alpine cold ensures snow in winter, and sometimes during summer. And did you know that the lowest recorded temperature was -27 degrees Celsius?!

The roads of Lesotho have been one of the most scenic roads I’ve driven so far, and definitely one of the most impressive (but Uganda and Malawi have some challenging ones as well). Anyway, seeing these road signs made me think of the region where Rafiki’s from originally: the French Alps!
