REBORN


Hey! I’m Charline, and behind is Rafiki, my Toyota Hilux and protector. 6 months ago, I decided to quit my life in Europe because I had a dream to realise. Yep, I left France to go overlanding solo across Mother Land: my Dear Africa.


I first drove from France to Eastern Turkey to finally ship Rafiki to South Africa. We finally reunited early May and so far we explored: unique South Africa, the land of Giants (Botswana), and colourful Zambia -where we are now.


I was sharing my adventures with all my heart, with all this passion running into my eyes, with energy, motivation, time and love. BUT!!! Instagram decided to delete my account without notice. I felt sad and upset because this account has become my travel diary. I was doing my best to share my adventures, my emotions and my challenges. I could interact with a fascinating community, inspiring people, Africa lovers, and many, many other wonderful souls, YOU all.


It made me sad BUT I’m healthy, I’m happy, Rafiki is the best reliable car I could ask for, and, obviously, I’m living Africa.


I’m proud to be back, I’m proud to keep sharing this solo overland expedition through Africa. And I will ALWAYS keep fighting to show you Africa, REAL Africa, with all my heart.
