Real Time & Delayed Posts: Wtf?!

You probably already noticed the mention ‘IN REAL TIME’ on some of my posts and stories. And you surely understand the necessity of delaying my adventure’s notifications.

I officially left France on the 26th of January 2022. But I only started to delay my posts when Rafiki touched the African soil three months later.

Why? For safety reasons and I decided to delay my posts by a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, when I entered Zambia for the first time (in July 2022), my Instagram account was deleted. Out of the blue.

It broke my heart since I lost all my writings from my first time in Africa (in 2020) as well as the whole impressions from the solo expedition’s preparation and Rafiki’s acquisition.

It took me 2 weeks to decide to create a new account pushed and motivated by a dear friend of mine.

Today’s delay is superior than a month and I like it this way tbh. It allows me to mature the experiences and to protect my intimacy.

And today, whether in real and delayed time, I’m in South Africa. In delayed time, you can see me rocking the Sani Pass and resting in the Drakensberg mountains. While in real time, I’m not too far from this gorgeous region, having a break from filming my adventures, catching up on sleep, and actively working on the last part of the journey.

I’m also busy working on my Youtube channel, adding a new video every Sunday afternoon. Although the delay is enormous: 1 year delay.

You can always follow the solo expedition in real time on my Patreon.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!
