My friend Val has left and I’m still enjoying my host family here in Gaborone for a few more days.
I was not feeling well and it’s a chance I’m not in the middle of the bush now -so I can rest and my body can slowly re-energies.
As mentioned days ago, I’m extending my stay in Botswana. Remember, I wanted to attend the Great Migration in Tanzania mid-July but it’s so much km away (around 4,000 from Gaborone).
I already drove so much in such a short period of time (because I wanted my friend Val to see most of Botswana). I thus decided to take it easy and to go at my own pace. I actually want to respect my No plan strategy.
So, in a few days, I’m going to head North of Botswana, with so many stops on the way. And there is something I want to try: a self-drive safari alone (no friend, nobody, just Rafiki & I).
And from the North I’m going to cross with the next country on my heart list: Zambia!
I can’t wait to be on the road again!
