My human got me when I was 8 weeks old because she has a strong fascination for my breed.
In May 2024, she got back from a big solo expedition in Africa and the Middle East, alone with her Toyota Hilux Rafiki. She always tells me that she never felt lonely in 2.5 years of intensive adventures, but that her life felt different when she got to meet 8 Rottweilers while in the middle of Namibia, 9 months after she started her solo travel.
Apparently, she said to a local woman something like ‘one day, I’ll get this dog’.
My human is a bit stubborn and when she has something in mind, she will seduce destiny to make it happen.
And here I am! I’m Kena, a female Rottie and I just turned 9 months.
To be honest, I had no idea I would have so much issues with my health, but like my human, I like to fight to become stronger.
Also, I love wild environments and I hate the routine. My human always tells me that she is trying her best to give me the wildest life and that it will happen this year.
I hope so. Because she told me about creatures with what we call a trunk, others looking like painted horses, or others with a giant neck! But the one I want to meet in real is the one my human loves most. I don’t really understand why she doesn’t want me to play with it one day though… Because I love its name: lion.
I really hope my human will manage to show me these weird things but especially, I hope I will see her smiling more often… she says that she lost half of her heart in Africa and the Middle East.
I don’t know what it means but I would love if we can find it soon.
One thing for sure: I’m determined to protect her all the way until she gets it…and after.
