Life On The Road: No Problems, Only Solutions

I’m so in love with this new life. I learn so much, every single day. I will always remember that day though. I was heading to the Moremi game reserve -in Botswana- and enjoying this deep sand track sooo much! And this photo reflects the backstage of this expedition -my fav part! Challenges make us grow, build our confidence to be even more independent.

So the story behind these 3 pictures was the following: I basically deflated the tyres with a…homemade screwdriver! (See pic 3) And I’m using that weird tool every time it needs to be deflated. And it works perfectly!

— and I use my compressor to check the pressure.

SOME DATA ABOUT RAFIKI’S TYRES (in bar):

* Pressure on tarred roads: 2.4

* Pressure on sandy roads (or snow!): 1.8 /1.9*

* Pressure in dunes: 0.8 / 1**

*+ high/low range 4WD (it depends how I feel the grip on Rafiki!) w/ differential lock

**+ low range 4WD w/ differential lock

Please note my tyres are AT Cooper tyres (ST Maxx): BIG fan of COOPER as much as BIG fan of TOYOTA!!

WHAT ABOUT YOU GUYS?

And yep, for the new people in here, please note that I LOVE to go off-roading as much as I can. During the 1st part of the trip (France-Turkey) I was mostly driving on snow and icy roads since I started the expedition in -European- winter.

(Photos taken by my friend Val who joined me for 3 weeks in Botswana! Apparently, she enjoyed.)
