This new tent is definitely luxury for this kind of adventure on the road. But to be honest, do not forget that I’ve been traveling since January 2022, nonstop, alone, seating and driving constantly, with no deep sleeps (or very few times).
I’m not complaining, I’m being factual. The truth is I will never complain, I CAN’T complain. I’m realising a big dream of mine, it would be crazy and absolute no sense to complain.
So let’s be factual: 20 months on the road is breaking your body a little bit. Back pain has become a new travel partner and deep sleep a friend I don’t see anymore.
This hardshell rooftop tent is a blessing since my back is not painful in the morning anymore. And this, is a lot my friends. It’s not ruining half of the days. (Unfortunately, the deep sleeps won’t happen again soon, I need to stay aware of the environment around me, and that’s part of the game so all good!).
I recently decided that this solo expedition is not just a travel, but a life I’m deeply falling in love with since the beginning. I want to make it last as long as possible, with risky decisions I’m making these days (in real time…).
What’s going on??! In real time, you will never believe this: Rafiki left me a few days ago…to meet soon again on another continent.
I miss my everything from the bottom of my heart but it’s for a new (definitely crazier and riskier) chapter!
