Back On The Road: 1 Month In Botswana Today!

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

I enjoy this little ‘pee’ break on the road to share some of my feelings with you.

As mentioned earlier -in story-, I’m so excited to be back on the road. I missed the road, I missed driving, yep, after 10 days only.

But not only that… I so missed being on my own, alone with/in my car. Don’t get me wrong: I loved having my friend over for 3 weeks and I just loved being with my host family for 2 weeks. But, I need to be honest, I prefer to be on my own. It’s just suits me best. I’m too independent, too crazy and too annoying.

And this is actually what I was looking for when building this adventure: to be on my own and to -maybe- understand who I truly am. And it feels that the last one is going to take some time

Anyway, I’m already madly in love with this adventure. I love its rhythm: alone, with people, alone, with people, alone.

And alone doesn’t mean to feel lonely. It’s actually the contrary. Everything in life is about timing and finding the good balance. So far, so good.

Let’s go back driving now. Cheers!
