As already mentioned, this question is very flattering as much as it irritates me. I don’t even know how to explain this strange feeling but I feel offended.
I prepared this expedition with all my heart to realise my biggest dream. I prepared it alone, and today, I’m experiencing it alone.
This is the purpose of a Solo overland expedition anyway and I enjoy it deeply.
I do not think this question is macho nor implies that I -a woman- cannot overland on her own across Africa. It’s probably something else.
And because men give me an amazing, strong, and infallible support every single day.
