Tonight, I want to keep sharing photos of the crossing through the Makgadikgadi (Botswana salt pans).
These photos have been taken on my way up North again; towards the town of Nata.
Don’t believe what you see on photos 1 and 2: I pretend to eat and to cook (after running back and forth to setup the tripod and the timer on my camera), but you have an idea of how it works behind the scenes at least. A quick stop into the wild, somewhere hidden in the bush. No time for a plate and cutlery, a long drive ahead was still waiting for me.
My clothes are dirty, dusty, full of holes, my hair a disaster, my face covered with salt, my body sweating, Rafiki a mess, but my heart -I know you can guess the end of this sentence- fulfilled.
The weather was not at its best, but the drive still so scenic.
If you plan to visit Botswana, don’t think twice, and make sure the Makgadikgadi is on your top list.
