And while I’m posting stories about this unreal overland exploration across Namibia (stick to the stories because the most epic part is yet to come!), I’m actively working on the route to cross South Africa.
Because yes, in real time, I’m about to cross South Africa. I stayed in Cape Town for longer than expected and I’m slowly heading South.
South Africa is probably going to be the most challenging country to cross so far because of its political / social situation (let’s be realistic and honest). I do not want to stay in the Western Cape but so ready to head to KwaZulu Natal, to drive the Sani pass, to get to Lesotho, to discover Kruger and then, I keep it secret. Plans change remember that.
Oh, and yes! 10 days ago, I met a legend in the town of Stellenbosch. My favourite explorer and one of the most fascinating people to my heart: the unique Mike Horn (in the video).
Have you ever heard of him btw?
