I spent 4 amazing days at the biggest 4x4 and travel show of France. Nothing was planned and popped up in my life like a beautiful surprise.
I have obviously never ever realised a movie and I didn’t even know how to do it. The @salondutoutterrainetduvoyage took a risk to invite me and to show my movie to big off-road and overlanding brands and aficionados.
I literally spent the past 2.5 weeks editing this movie, day and night, nonstop. And I just had so much fun to illustrate the biggest adventure of my life the best I can.
My movie got released on last Saturday and got shown a second time, on Sunday the 25th, due to many people asking to watch it again. I couldn’t believe my eyes. All these kind souls feeling deeply moved and inspired just brought tears into my heart. These kids coming to me telling me they want to be ‘me’ when they grow up. It’s weird to understand, but it’s so comforting to see young generations dreaming about traveling the world in a special way.
Today, I need to digest the euphoria and to make a plan. Thanks to many inspiring encounters during the show, I could get some new ideas and to confirm some others.
Today, I’d like to take my time to see how I could show my movie in other parts of the world; to you all. Today, I’d love to express my heart in a way a movie can’t. Indeed, I’d love to write a book and to commercialize some special photos from this adventure and the one just before when I was in Africa for the first time.
I also still need to change the setup of Rafiki because of something very particular that I need to tell you very soon…….
Last but not least, I’d love to be back on the road as soon as possible.
