3 years later, I’m back to one of those powerful places which highly contributed to that fascination I have for Africa and its magic.
3 years later, I finally got back that part of my heart I left somewhere on the African soil. Because today, I feel fulfilled. I feel deeply fulfilled.
My life is shaping up to the vibrations of these experiences on the road, where time and commitments do not exist anymore.
I finally feel disconnected to that European frame of references. This nonconformist way of life I’m living makes me feel deeply alive.
It was not easy when I couldn’t relate to most of the women my age, to my female cousins, to my sister, to my mum, and to my female friends.
But it was time to set me free. Free from standards, mainstream beliefs, or other trends. I decided to assume my aspirations because only their realisation makes me happy. Truly happy.
Because today, I walk hand in hand with this Charline 6 years old. And I secretly hope you too can embrace your 6 years old little you and that they’re proud of you.
