It’s been 18 months since I’ve been repatriated from Botswana. 18 months I’ve been missing Motherland. Every single day. 18 months I want to go back to Africa. I miss its treasures, its people, its authenticity. I miss existing for real.
I truly understood the value of life when I was there. We can always talk, write or argue about it, but there, you experience it, there, you realise so many things.
Africa is an extraordinary continent. Trust me. We all should care about it. Once for all.
I’ll be back, and whatever happens, I’ll be back.
(On this photo, the Chief of a Banna tribe village, somewhere in the Omo Valley. My very first night sleeping with them…can’t wait to see them again soon, hopefully.)
