A few days ago, it was my 1-year overland anniversary in Africa! And what an experience it’s been so far. Remember when I told you that I couldn’t realise it when I left France? Well, I still do not realise anything. And I love this sensation.
The map above represents the route so far -almost updated in real time (but, for safety reasons, I cannot show you more for now).
The purple line represents the route from Cape Town (where I collected Rafiki in South Africa) all the way up to Nairobi in Kenya.
In Kenya, I found out that Ethiopia changed its entry rules and that it was not possible to enter the country anymore with a foreign vehicle.
So the blue line represents the way back from Nairobi to Cape Aghulas (South Africa).
This map is a little spoiler so you can see what I drove since unbelievable Sossusvlei in Namibia (footage I’m sharing with you these days).
